Copyright -protects your work so others wont steel it. if you say something but someone else wrights it it now belongs to them.
Fair use- is a guideline of how much copyright item can be used legally without permission.
For Sale Doctrine-the person who buys(the new owner) it its allowed to transfer a copy without permission and the old owner cant do anything to change it.
Intellectual Property- Things we come up with like our imagination, thoughts, etc.
Patent- you can use your idea for a certainer amount of time then others can use it.
Permission- permission to use someones work
Phonorecords- new technology that can be stored in a digital device.
Plagiarism- to steal someones work and not giving the credit to that source.
Public Domain- the copyright protection has expired and now it belongs to the public.
Trademark- a symbol or word that identifies a product like the apple for macs, i-pods, etc.
